What is "protocol" for the use of an organizations logo

I have raised this issue in the past, and it didn't get much response or feedback, but surprisingly I have had 5 inquiries about it, so folks are interested in know more about it. If you are a member of OABA can you use their logo on your posters, letterheads, business cards, etc. etc? As they are members of the ECA(click to enlarge above photo) can you also use ECA's logo for advertising? As ECA endorses and solicits funds for the International Elephant Foundation, can you use that logo also? If you go on the ECA site, and click "Festivals" it is blank. Does that also include use of the Cirque Mundial Federation logo. If an individual holds 3 full memberships in three different countries, does that give them 3 votes in the ECA? As Ringling is a member of ECA, OABA, Cirque Mundial Federation, and the International Elephant Foundation, if I am a member also might I be able to "allude" to an association with them and myself in interviews?

David R. Blasko Six Flags Marine World Director of Animal Operations. Listed on the board of Directors I have to assume that is a connection with the Mirage Hotel and their dolphin/sea mammal program?

Wade, when searching for information about David Blasko, currently director of animal care at the Mirage, this is what I found:

Dave's brother Dan Blasko was the Director of the Mirage dolphin program. I didn't find him in the IMATA (marine trainers club) directory and I haven't seen him at some recent conferences. Maybe he's moved on -- too young to retire to FL.

Jim,
There was an incident last year with the death of some dolphins at the Mirage. I wonder if it is coincidental?
