A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Your new found Aussie mate is good value!!!!
This person is not unknown and is not just a presenter.
This is my son-in-law, Tony Maynard.
Born into the Perry circus family [Robert's cousin's son] he did tight wire, trampoline, clowning and worked elephants etc on that show for many years.
With his wife [my daughter Cathy] and his family, he has now started Eroni's Circus here in Australia.
Tony and Cathy trained these Libertys and Tony works them. They are the only Liberty Horse [as opposed to pony] act in Australia today.
Steve,
What kind of mate are you!!!! You know I am queer for Palomino Liberty horses, and you keep quiet about these??? They are beautiful horses. I was going to mention that they have unusual, unique surcingles. If possible find out if there is any Arabian blood in them, and whether those back pads are leather or cloth.
Wade
Sorry mate - not possible to answer your questions.
We have been estranged for many years. So many years that I have never seen my Maynard grandchildren and I have never seen this Liberty act. I keep up to date with how they are going through a network of friends who send me photos etc and I am very proud of their accomplishments.
But, unfortunately, that's it.
Steve,
I am going to go "Thomas" for a moment and suggest that good names for these horse's would be Nevada, Arizona, and Montana. I would name one Dakota to really give it some prestige.
Wade
It's not "Thomas" who you've been to!!! LOL
