When we were wondering at Ned being taken on the road in his condition, nobody remembered or addressed Sahib. He looked awful bad at the end.

This is Shenka from Circus Alberti in Germany. He died last year.

I geriatrically call male elephants Sahib, as I geriatrically call horse's Steel Heart. I didn't want to mention the name again, in case there were issues. There was such an out cry over Ned, which was totally justified that folks may not have realized things occur world wide that sterotypes all and makes everybody a "soft target."
