For Col. Herriott

Johnny, at the time of 2:24 on this clip is looks like he is starting a wheel and then all of a sudden 3 and 4 bolt into the 1 and 2 position. Was it a wheel that went south or did he intend to change leads in pairs. He never changes back, but instead lines them up and does a strange piroette deal to get them back in the right formation. I have never seen a lead change by two's, or was this a salad.
Does anybody know who this is I think it is a Russian act?

Wade, I think that in actuality this is not a liberty act, but retired race horses, and they just wanted the inside track. LOL

Looks like a very good liberty act routine. I note some horses getting out of place and it appears that the presenter in new as he makes very few cues, just standing with whips held out. The trainer maybe blowed.

Col. Herriott,
Josip Marcan who speaks Portuguese as well as a half dozen other languages, called me and said this is a Portuguese act and not Russian. He said the Ringmaster is saying to "watch as the horse change their places, making 3 and 4 1 and 2"
Have you ever seen a lead change like this done in pairs and then the putting of the horses back in place by hand? I told Josip what a great Ringmaster, to alibi for the act when it goes south. "Watch as one horse jumps the ring, while 3 go left and 2 go right. Never before seen" LOL
