Ervin is the son of Sonny Frankello, and the elephants are Citta and Sandra. Here we see a neck chain, which is useful for keeping a runner "attached" to a more dependable animal. The leather leash is still a mystery. I have seen an old picture of Freida Sembach Krone with a leash on an adult African, but still don't know the use or purpose. Ervin was almost killed last year by a bull elephant at the Frankello's home base/breeding compound, and spent a couple of months in the hospital recuperating. I suggest a hook may have been a useful impliment it have in that situation.

Their quarters are called elefantenhof platschow. Here lives citta, kenia, mala, moritz, kimba, sandra and sahib
Sahib was sonny first elefant. Later in1985 he bought timba. In 1988 he presented for the first time the two elephant on circus benneweis. In 2004 he did his last full circus season with arena

Or is it Thomas? LOL You are not letting your feline studies slip while you are fooling around in the elephant stable, are you? You might want to leave a little something for Vincent, Ryan, Guillame, or Don to worry about and just keep that cat training deal straight LOL
