The mysterious thing known as "IT"

It's been called "charisma."
It's been called "cute and charming."
It's been called "machismo."
It's been called "sex appeal." What ever it is, combine it with a baby tiger and it "radiates" a magnetism that draws you like a moth to a bright light.

Does anybody knows who is going to present the cage act at the new Zing Zang Zoom Ringling red show?

I think Hediger addressed the whole "baby animal" thing in his Man And Animal in the Zoo. Certainly not unique to tigers, but it is a "charisma" that seems to attach itself more to some species than to others. Knut, the polar bear in Berlin certainly had it in spades. It may be that the allure in lions and tigers and bears is a sense that we are allowed to be charmed, to fawn over them when they're still young and can't hurt us. I've seen some pretty ugly tiger cubs draw big crowds.

Thomas,

From what I hear, Taba will be presenting the act once again.
