Larry's act here consists of Bo, Cindy, Betty, and Jenny. He has left his act unchanged for years, but the number of bulls seems to change weekly, The same act for 2, 3, 4, or 5 elephants.

It also should be noterd that different ring curbs are being used on the little dates. As most of you may know, Mr Carden carries two show set-ups wth him. One for big dates on the weekends (lasers, truss lighting and sound, the clear ring curbs) and one for the smaller dates in between (Tower Lights, Speakers on the ground, red white and blue striped ring curb. However for the fall of 2008, Mr Carden had one weekend where there where two units. So his traditional red white and blue lighted ring curb, is at home on a truck waiting to play Chattanooga, TN while the rest of his equipment headed for Minneapolis, MN. The ring curb appears to be James Plunkett's however, with Mr Carden's array of equipment, I can't imagine him having to rent or borrow ring curb.

I note the lay down with attempt at feet to back and only one elephant is correct. It takes ba little knack to get the right lay down to bring it out right when they go into the sit up. Mac and Buckles always had it right and I have also been there and done that. It is a very nice routine when done right. See the photos of me with six Hoxie Africans and Asians.

Col. Herriott,
Lou Regan taught me that it is important that the elephants not "skush" around or twist away from laying on the feet or having the feet laid on by the neighboring elephant. When they are told down they come done where they are told, and not where they want.
