That looks to me like tonga. Im 99.9 % that this is Tonga.

Wade, I will agree with Stefan that it is probably King Tonga. In any case, he is incredibly beautiful.

What identified him as Tonga, to you Stefan and Mary Ann? White or black is the hardest color to identify individuals.

Wade, for me it was because he is obviously a show lion, and the dark spot on his forehead. S & R's Quest also has a dark spot on his forehead, but Roy had their show lions clipped into thos sissy haircuts, making them look as ridiculous as French poodles.

The dark spot above his eyes in the middle identified this lion as Tonga to me.

Mary Ann and Stefan,
White is white. Black is Black. There is no such thing as dark white spots, or light black spots, and there are no shades of white or black. Light reflection may make white appear pearl, or black appear blue, but those are visual illusions.
I am wondering why folks are so uncomfortable with the color "Champagne?" Could be be because the few "show business" folks historically "associated" with the lions are considered demigods. The protruding tongue, head down demeanor, and shade(yet white does not have a shade) identified him for me. If it had been a White Tiger, somebody would have pointed to that as an inbreeding deficiency.
