Wade, why isn't he wearing his white suit? He looks so nice in it.

An act/performer has a number of different colored costumes, normally in the same style, although some will have different styles as well. One is normally a "opening night" "big show" costume. It is usually the one the performer feels most comfortable/ thinks looks best, which is often times not the case. But to reference the oft used mantra, "It's what I think looks best."
