As Dr. Standring mentions Sponge Bob isn't filling the seats. So why not use on of America's most beautiful and beloved sights as a draw? Makes perfect marketing sense to me.

LOL I thought that line was also quite appropriate and telling. They went from sucking up to movie stars like Monte Carlo did, to featuring Sponge Bob at Evansville and "what ever is available" at Monte Carlo and he wonders at, "business is down!!!!"
Folks just don't appreciate a moon bounce, elephant/pony ride and a picture with a tiger cub/snake or a gold or silver door stop to set on your shelf, or a fine scarf to wear around your neck, like they used to. Damn animal rights ruined everything.
