A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Gibbs did rides for awhile with out a saddle. His BS reasoning was saftey,,,,lol. He said that way if the elephant blew, and ran under something, the riders would just slide off the back of the elephant, as opposed to being folded in half by the saddle That was a different era though, I can't believe someone is doing it today.
remo cristiani did it this way for over 25 years with no accidents
Gordon,
How are you doing. If Remo Christiani did it this way for 25 years, that's crazy not alright. By the way, can you tell us what became of Remos elephants when they matured?
