A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Who is the bull?
Bottom picture. Mr. Gebel-Williams with Bengal on top of Congo. A clip of the entire act can be found on my blog circus-williams.blogspot.com (Hope a lil self promoting is ok Wade ;-) )
Marco,
Of course self promotion is okay. It is the foundation and cornerstone the circus is built on. Promote away!!! It is a great site you have built, and if you send me the pertinent http// deal(don't expect me to figure it out) I will link it on the side bar on the right of this blog. As I say it is a nice site, and all should check it out now and again. I will also mention again Show Biz Daves site on the side bar. If you want fact, and not just "feel good" pictures, that's the place to go.

Ryan,
Congo was one of the most amazing Africans I have ever seen. Most of the time she was left loose, to her own devices. Have you ever seen a dog sit and wait for his master to return? Boss used to go in the building, and Congo would stand and wait like that dog. On animal walks she usually got the building 15 minutes before everything else, unless she got distracted, in which case she would arrive 15 minutes late.

What's her story? What happened to her?
