Nationals Update--HA/AA English Pleasure Junior Horse

TOI Slamtastic CRF ridden by Kevin Price Champion
In The Line Afire ridden by Jim Stachowski Reserve (Madame Col. this is Cha Chings 1/2 brother)
Maxamilliann ridden by Chase Harvill Top Ten
HS Liberty ridden by Joel Gangi Top Ten (again the judges sucked. Liberty should have gone Reserve.)
CMJ Hot Monica ridden by Sharon Blendinger Top Ten (it is hard to play the cute and charming, T and A card when you are all dressed alike and mounted the same. You actually have to be talented to win)

Wow, when I was showing Arabs, Park Horses didn't go this big and these are English pleasure horses. How times have changed. To my taste, just looking at photos mind you, I love the Grey horse, he is more out with good solid movement and not strange looking behind. A lot of times these hustled big moving horses lose the rear end or go in an odd timing and out behind. You can see it in a couple of these pictures. Anyway they are gorgeous horses and put on a good show.

Dianne,
The Park horse's have been getting more spastic looking each year front feet near their ears, and as you noted back ends a block away. The half Arabians as lest have some size/bulk and bridle and carry them selves for the most part. But the few Purebred Park horses truly look like they are in the middle of a seizure. Dashing forward, legs pumping all akimbo, eyes rolling like a gut shot buck.
That there are so few Purebred Park horses, I think is a credit to the change in the thinking of the industry. If they had had that idea for them back in the day's of ginger and fire extinguishers there would be a lot of crippled by the pound horses for sale. The really balanced talented few are bred that way, not made.
