HOLD THE PRESSES, STOP PRODUCTION--The Line up of The Monaco Monster's Ball 2009

Complete with a cultured and sophisticated advertising media. If I had known I would have given then the similar picture my boy's made for me in the first grade. The esteemed judging panel is still open, as "skill positions" are the hardest to fill on any award winning team.

Karl Ferdinand Trunk, poneys

Trunk, farm animals

Mayorov, clown

Duo Spiral, hand to hand

Cirque du soleil - Alegria, russian bars

Giona, high school

Romain Cabon, silks

Vivancos – jugglers (Russia)

Roger Falck, tigers

Elvis Errani, elephants

Fujian Troupe, Lazos

Troupe Pyongyang, flying trapeze

Troupe Pyongyang, russian swing

Gipsy Gomez, hula hoop

Val de Fun, clown (being the new stage name of Valery Serebiriakov)

Wolfgang Lauenburger, dogs

Constantin Muraviev, comedy german wheel

Tr’Espace, diabolos

A chinese perch act

Zebras Troupe, acrobats (Russia)

Efremkina, aerial lyra

Dany Daniel, rola-bola

Duo Sorellas, double trapeze

A riding cossack act

According to the "never wrong source" this is official. He shall remain anonymous, until such time as there is a lawsuit initiated. If said lawsuit does occur, not only will I identity him by name, I will also graciously provide the House of Grimaldi and Compagnie des Carabiniers du Prince/INTERPOL with address, phone numbers, email, known associates, place of business, what time he eats, where he shops. In other words, I got your back, right here!!!! LOL

The nationality of the acts:

Russia 9
Germany 5
France 3
China 2
Korea 2
Italy 2
Soleil Empire 1
Portugal 1
plus a couple of others I'm not sure.

Let's wait the nationality of judges.

Amy.
Ask me nicely (perhaps via Wade) and I'll send you some programmes after Christmas!

Wade.
Looks like the paperwork for that Russian cage cat fell through.

Everybody else.
Sorry if the message to the Great Burck is cryptic.

John.

John,
I have told you in the past, if your "source" tells you it is a hot sunny day with no rain in sight, take an umbrella with you, to be on the safe side. No offense, but the spouse wrote the book, on reverse rabble.

Raffaele,
I don't know if nationality is as important as a willingness to comply. That's more of a personality then a nationality.

Circuslover,
I thought you wanted my resume? Why haven't you emailed me? Who is your friend Dionne? Isn't Housch ma Housch the Chinese caterer?
Wade

If they lost the cage act, maybe there is still time to get the leash cat deal a few posts down. It maybe the first cat act to equally compete against a big Chinese or Russian acrobatics troupe, since they would have about the same amount of people in the acts.

Margaret,
We have to back off of Circuslover. There has been a misunderstanding, and I apologize to him. His name is Thomas Bonner and he is a young Circus fan/cage act fan from Germany. Sometimes things get twisted in the translation, as was the case with his new blog, as nobody knew who he was. I would advise him not to allow anonymous or cute name comments for the validity of his blog. Thomas and I have communicated in the past as I think new, young fans are great. Apparently he has sent me recent emails, which I have not received. Those things happen. I will try to email him this evening, and see if it is going through now.
Support his fledgling blog, and I wish him the best with it.
Wade

Darlin,I don't think Thomas is so young that he can't take a joke, especially if he reads your blog....

Wade G. Burck said...

Margaret,
He is 14 and doesn't speak good English. Many things can get twisted because of a language barrier. I misinterpreted his blog, as I didn't know who's it was. I have apologized, and will do all that I can to be of service to him, and to promote his interest in the history of the craft as I know it. He may not like what he is hearing, but I will give him facts.

Margaret,
I even spelled his name wrong. It is Bohner.

I think the artwork is confusing.

Fresia Eckelman
9 years old
I am from the usa

Wade G. Burck said...

Fresia,
The art work was chosen, apparently after a world wide competition that nobody knew about, except the Monte Carlo gang. From many submissions, folks of intelligence, sophistication, and culture chose this one.
Wade

OrMaggie77 said...

Do you happen to know who did the artwork? It's not that bad,it has all the elements of 'circus' in it. And I have read Thomas's Blog, it's listed on my favorites now..

Thomas, können Sie davon abhängen, Wade, um Ihnen den Sachverhalt, über was auch immer Sie fragen him.Sorry, mein Deutsch ist ein bisschen eingerostet.

Housch Ma Housch was brilliant at Cirque d'Hiver last Christmas season, and is currently touring Britain with Phillip Gandey's Cirque Surreal. Show will be about 5 miles away from me next week, and I am looking forward to discovering how he goes in Britain. He's Ukranian, by the way. Based in Germany these days.

Margaret.
I'm English, so with our weather I have a tendency to keep an umbrella with me at all times, even in summer. Mind you, I think I blinked and missed it this year!

John.

Wade G. Burck said...

Thomas,
I at least got the age right, sorry about the nationality. I think Jean Michon lives in Belgium.

John,I live in the Pacific Northwest(Oregon),so I truly understand the umbrella thing..LOL..

Georgia misses you. The zerox tickets on L.E.B.&B. were quite confusing too, it's the nature of the beast,,,,lol

Vriendelijke groeten.
