A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
Ryan, I think CoCo is a rather homely elephant. I don't know if he has developed into a King just yet.

I don't know of this male where is he at?
When I saw him in February unfortunately both of his tusks were cracked and banded. The Columbus Zoo has a nice educational display, but I prefer the barns without glass where you can smell the animals. Otherwise you might as well be watching a movie.
Mike,
Ryan answered your question. He is at Columbus.

Ryan,
If you like smells you need to get around Ranchipur when he is bulling. I understand you can smell his skank a mile away, and the whole WAP smells like it is ready to breed something.
