An example of way too much time on your hands.

This is really ridiculous. The up side is no harm is being done, but nothing is being achieved. Except making this keeper feel good. This is what the title reads "unique footage of Lucifer the lion as he prepares for his health check at ZSL London Zoo. To make life easier for our vet staff and the lions, Lucifer will show the vets his paws so that they can give him a health check without the need for anaesthetic.(their spelling)"
Can any feline people tell me, at what point would you need to examine the paw's as part of a normal visual examination? This lady suggest injury. If that's the case, he had better be in a squeeze cage, or you won't get much of a look or a chance to repair. She notes that he used to charge when he first came to the zoo. I suggest he still does. Is there not a hot cat in the world that won't put his paw up to "any" object against the cage, including your face if you are so inclined. At one point she gets confused between the target and the meat, and puts the meat up, and he puts his paw to that. Then she remembers, "whoops, my target is laying on the floor. I promise, if this girl asked a Jim Clubb or a Josip Marcan, "what do you think," and they looked at her with stunned silence, she would be miffed that they weren't giving her a standing ovation. LOL
