To each his own!!!!

Jody, I agree you are nuts. Now that you have bought back your first reining horse, at the useful age of 24 you might want to look at the link Amy sent. You can buy a half dozen confiscated goats, and get a few more years of roping out of the old boy. LOL I may not agree, but I can understand. There was a tiger one time, that I would have loved to spend the rest of my life with. Her name was Karma

Wade,
Before I am asking this I looked through your blog and even tried to google it, but could not find anything about Karma the Tiger except the picture of the pyramids.
Would you mind sharing more information on Karma?

Wade,
We finally have agreed on something, I'm nuts...
Got to tell you a little history about this horse. He was brought to my at the time husband to break to ride as a 3yr old. The owner had been to a Ray Hunt clinic and decided he had learned enough to start him himself. Well, when he brought Holly to us he said he had put the saddle on, Holly jumped, the saddle went underneath his belly which scared him more and he broke out of the roundpen running with the saddle under his belly. Hours later they caught the horse and brought him to us.
At that time we hadn't heard of Ray Hunt so we asked if this was the "Ray Hunt Method?" If it was we weren't too keen on it...
Holly arrived scared to death and it's no wonder.
Long story short, I ended up buying him from the customer, I won my first plaque and pewter with him in NRHA, and when I got divorced I had to sell him. Bad front legs and all it's been the only horse I've ever regreted selling.
Yup, I'm nuts, crazy, whatever but will be one happy camper when he arrives here tomorrow night.

BTW:
I've been to a few Ray Hunt clinics to audit. I enjoyed everyone of them.. Obviously Holly's previous owner must have missed out on a lot....

Casey,
Thank you for that. I promise the longer you are around tigers, you will appreciate the rare ones like Karma even more.

Jody,
I agree Ray Hunt is a great horseman. A common misconception that a lot of people have is that you can watch somebody and do what they did. It is much, much, more then that. Unless you have a "basic" knowledge or understanding, you won't have a clue. Do you know how many people worked for GGW, some for years, and had know idea why or what he did.
