I have a dvd of this horse(a Knapstrupper) during training. The Academy found an old manuscript written by a riding master who trained horses for Knights and Crusaders of the King of France, and trained this horse to do the same maneuvers using the methods as written. They had tack, bits, etc. specially made for the horse, exactly as was used in medieval times, to use in the training. In my book, probably one of the greatest feat's of historical/old school training in the last 100 years.

Bent Branderup, Danish riding master, with his BLIND knabstrupper stallion!
Chris,
I had heard the horse had gone blind, and one of Branderup's student was now caring for him, and doing demonstrations with him. I am currently trying to find out why. I don't know if it is age or genetics. I believe the horse is about 18-19 now.
