For Amy--Trout

Trout is the common name given to a number of species of freshwater fish belonging to the Salmonidae family. Trout are usually found in cool (50-60°F, 10-15°C), clear streams and lakes and are distributed naturally throughout North America , Northern Asia and Europe. Trout that live in different environments can have dramatically different colorations and patterns.
Trout in, or newly returned from the sea, can look very silvery, while the same "genetic" fish living in a small stream or in an alpine lake could have pronounced markings and more vivid coloration. It is virtually impossible to define a particular color pattern as belonging to a specific breed; however, in general, wild fish are claimed to have more vivid colors and patterns. Lake trout inhabit many of the larger lakes in North America, and live much longer than rainbow trout, which have an average maximum lifespan of 7 years. Lake trout can live many decades, and can grow to more than 60 lbs.
Trout are somewhat bony, but the flesh is generally considered to be appetizing, although I don't like eating fish. Additionally, they provide a good fight when caught with a hook and line. Fly Fishing is a distinctive method developed primarily for trout and is the most calming, therapeutic form of relaxation in the world.

Amy,
You may find this blog of interest as she address a lot of animal radical issues such as Peta.

Wade,
I know what a trout is. I have had them for dinner before and have caught them. Smoked Trout is the best. I thought Margaret was being dirty minded with snakes, snogging and rashes!

Amy,
The snake deal is true, and Margaret was walking the line with rashes, and you need to ask John Cooper about snogging. LOL

Wade,
Don't know who John Cooper is, but I do know what snogging is, or at least I think I know what it is. You two have me all confused. As far as I know Snogging is british slang for making out or kissing.
Now the real question is, was the python stuffed or alive?

Margaret,
Yeah right. You send me a translation, and then I will decide if it gets published or not, no censoring ruling be damned!!!!!
I think I recognized "administrator" and "full of shit".

I simply said that the snake on the shelf was alive, and the legendary snake you were talking was yours..LOL..

OrMaggie77 said...

Oh yes and that snogging was a bit more than kissing..LOL..

Wade G. Burck said...

Wait a minute!!!!! Somebody must be goofing on me. I was told by an actual Brit, that "snog" is just another way of saying "tip the prop crew".
Wade

Amy was right...Snogging is kissing, we were shagging..LOL..And if you need a translation for that ask your friend John Cooper....

Amy Shmamy said...

Margaret,
Well actually had to use a translation site. Might have taken 3 years of german, but didn't understand half of that. What I thought it said was very different than what it did. I have a dirty mind!
Wade,
Tip the prop crew? Looks like they tip their prop crews better than we do! LOL

Still a little confused at what kind of snake we are talking about. Is it the animal snake, or the snake in the pants! The legendary one that is.
I overanalyze things, so I think to hard and get confused. LOL
We learned pants and small the same day in class so my favorite thing to say in German is
Du bist klein in die hose! OR you can say Du bist sehr gross in die hose! which means you are small in the pants. and you are very big in the pants.

Margaret,
I don't have to ask John Cooper. "Shagging" is a code word Austin Powers and MI6 used to throw Maxwell Smart and KAOS off the trail. But that's all right because Max had the old Professor Peter Peckinpah all purpose anti-personnel Peckinpah pocket pistol under the toupee trick to confuse them with.

Wade,
I follwed your last comment until you got to Peter Pecinpah. Never heard of that one, Lol. I think I finally have it clear of which snake is legendary. Although I do feel like I have entered the world of Abbot and Costello.

At the moment I am drawing a blank on three stooges quotes. Will have to get back to you on that one.

Amy, it's a classic..I think she's to young Wade for Stooges or Maxwell Smart.

Margaret,
How dare you think I am too young for such classics as Get Smart, and the Three Stooges. You are never too young for the greats. I grew up glued to Nick at Night. While other kids watched Friends and 7th Heaven I was busy catching up on The Monkees and Green Acres. My favorite actress until High School was Lucille Ball and I fell asleep to Dragnet every night. I twitched my nose like Samantha from Bewitched and I always wanted a costume like Barbara Eden's. You are never to young to fall in love with great television. Most tv now days are remakes or garbage.
