Vintage London Zoo--1930

" A 'Spanish' touch at the Zoo.
This young lady attracted a great deal of attention among visitors to the Zoo today, when she made her appearance in a Spanish Toreador's costume. Her hair which was worn in the usual Spanish style - a curl on the cheek - was accentuated by the large black Spanish sombrearo, and a red-rose on the shoulder of her mauve velvet coat." John mate, did you ever meet this lady? Apparently she regularly took her family to the Zoo.

O Great Burck. How long have you had this death wish?

John,
I wasn't suggesting you knew her in 1930. I just thought maybe when you were a wee lad, you may have seen her around Piccadilly Circus, she would have been older then this picture to be sure, but still pretty distinctive with the pram and hat.
