A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

I know nothing about horses, but this act makes my top ten EASY!! The videos I have seen of it show the horses and presenter (I don't know or care if she trained them) to be gorgeous. Granted I have only seen two videos, and may not be the norm for it, but it seemed a very smooth and easy working act.
Also,
I will add if some ugly dude like Wade were working this act, it would maybe not have the same effect.
Casey,
You just proved to us you know nothing about horses. And to reference Harman Killibrew, being gorgeous didn't get him into the number 5 home run spot. To make a TOP TEN LIST, you have to exhibit the great skill in training/presentation consistently over a long period of time with many different acts. In the music business they are referred to as "one hit wonders", it doesn't matter how long they sing the song, and they don't go in the Rock and Roll Hall of fame. But yes Sylvia looked great presenting the horses, and that "shimmy waltz" was to die for. And no, falling out of the sky added nothing to the horse act, nor did the working without harness.
As soon as you are finished "Timmying this", I've got some ugly right here you can start on.
Wade
