Studying with respect yesterday, and fixing and advancing to tomorrow


The photos above of Polar Bears were taken in 1955 at a French Zoo. The pictures below were taken in 2003 at the Detroit Zoo. They illustrate two very different kinds of "dirty" caused by two different "substances".

Wade, before the Arctic Ring of Life opened at the Detroit Zoo, the polar bears in the old exhibit were often green because of algae.

The important thing is they aren't green anymore, because somebody wasn't telling them, "what's the big deal, they've been green for 100 years and it never bothered them before. We've always had green Polar Bears." LOL
