To bad this beautiful elephant statue has been destroyed

I thought it was taken to the Los Angles Zoo. What happened to it?

Didn't know it went to LA zoo. Did not see it when I was last there, but that was in 1980.

I didn't see it in 1984 or 1986 either or in 1997 when I visited Vargas in LA. I was just referencing this quote: "Jeff came to Los Angeles to see the Selig statues being restored. These creations will be installed at the new Los Angeles Zoo entrance." CASE CLOSED!!! Unless, RJR gets here to sort it out. LOL
