Who knows? I just figured it was a fabled "monkey roll", after Jim Clubb pointed out what I assumed, that the balls were remote controlled, and I haven't heard mention in a couple years after it "astounded" the world, like the gentleman with only a small "stick" from the same country.

I believe the gentleman's name is actually Misislav Zapashnay Jr, and that his father is currently head of Rosgocirk, the Russian national circus agency.
