I think this lovely young lady learned a lot riding on that lead horse, don't you agree Col. Herriott.

A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
I think this lovely young lady learned a lot riding on that lead horse, don't you agree Col. Herriott.

This is the first season that Merylu has presented the horses (trained by Tim Delbosq) and I'm told that it was only decided she would do so about 10 days before the season opened. Consequently at the premiere she was all but petrified. When I saw the show about 2 weeks in to the run, she was incredibly assured.
Does a very nice aerial act too.
John.
John,
Occasionally when my memory return momentarily, I recall when I was beautiful and talented also. I wish this young lady all the best. Looks like she is well on the way to being what I used to be.
Wade
Wade.
I am sure that you were never this good looking!
And I believe it's said that if you want to know what a girl is going to look like in 20 years time, all you have to do id to look at her mother. Thus Merylu will have no worries in that respect.
John.
Wade, what are you talking about? You are still beautiful and talented, just not as young as you used to be. (Who is?) By the way, where are all your female bloggers?
M. A. Howell, B.A.
John,
Being aware of that "rule of thumb" I am assured "we ain't seen nothing yet."
Wade
Mary Ann,
I don't know. Madame Col. is doing a show, and it is horse show season right now so who knows. I run a couple of pictures of ex's and everything evaporates. LOL
Wade
I'm still here Mary Ann, I haven't evaportated quite yet..LOL..
Wade, actually I think that her sister is prettier than she is. You could run a couple of pictures of them side by side and let everyone vote. LOL
Mary Ann
Mary Ann,
Help me out here. Who is here sister?
Wade
Wade, the Casselly sisters, Alexia and Mary Lu.
Mary Ann
Wade, Alexia and Mary Lu appear at the end of the act of horses and elephants belonging to their father Rene. It is on a video you posted a while back:

Mary Ann
Wade, maybe it wasn't so much the pictures of ex's as much as it was the remark about "stretched, lumpy and saggy" that evaporated some of the female bloggers. Maybe we could vote on that too LOL
Mary Ann
Great idea. A pagent of beautiful circus women, and since this is an animal blog, they a'll have to be trainers or presenters. I'm voting for Regina in advance.
Ian
And,the pagent would have to be of women today. Someone from the 1950 Ringling show isn't what the audience today is looking at.
Ian
Ian,
Do you see how much you have learned on how to produce a "circus awards festival". A lot of advance publicity, personal favorite/agenda, and deciding what the public wants, sex appeal or a brilliantly trained animal act, and eliminating any competition from other sources. Well done, you are now skilled to produce a "circus awards festival" with the perception of the best 0 the best.
Wade
Mary Ann,
Alexis isn't Merry Lu's sister. And the "stretched, lumpy, and saggy" comment was in reference to show horses. I could understand some "horse shoes" fitting, but I would not have expected any pumps/sneakers to fit. Go figure.
Wade
