A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Uh...I am at a loss as to why he would have a pedastal tipped on end between them. Does some one else know, was this a trick of sorts?
Casey,
I just assume looking at the wind streaks and puffs of dust, and mane hair blowing back that he has sprung like Superman, faster then a speeding bullet, more powerful then a locomotive, able to leap tall buildings, off of the pedestal and it tipped. That happens some times. But thanks for pointing it out, so I didn't have to be jealous and do it.

I thought that, but why would he be jumping toward the front of the arena, I assume the other jump pedastal is to our left? I note Michon has a similar look on his face as the white tiger in the photo below.
Casey,
I assume as it is a European act, the seats are in the front, and he is going out whether he wants to or not, with the seat jambed up his keister. Different then the hard, cruel American style. Wrong about the White Tiger, he doesn't have pants to crap in.
Wade
Jean's daughter is Catherina Gasser, whose act has been pretty much taken over by her son Dominik.
John.
What kind of an act is it Mr. Cooper?
Where does the act work now?
Casey,
I don't know much about her act, but I have heard that it is pretty good. But I can't tell you more then that.

Casey.
Every time I hear "Mr. Cooper" I look round for my Dad, and he died over 30 years ago.
It's a lion act, and I've seen both mother and son working it. They work in Europe, wherever they're booked. Last time I heard, they were with The "Great Russian State Circus" in Holland and Germany. I'll try to remember to keep my eyes and ears open as to their current whereabouts.
John.
