Is'nt it wonderful that these shows present animal acts of a variety in their programs, anbd that they are or should be rated in some sort of voting, judging or whatever. That is negligable, and if their animals are obviously healthyb and these people are presenting them in tjis hundreds of year old format,m I salute them and they do not have to go to Monte Carlo to receive any awards. I am sure tgheir personal satisfaction supersedes any awards.

Col.,
Obviously healthy? Click on the second picture, and enlarge it. That is an awful "ribby" grey on the end with a badly rubbed off tail. You and I both know that is either a dirty unwashed tail, or worms will cause them to rub that bad. The short broken Arabian tails, makes me suspect they need a good bath now and again. While you have it enlarged, tell me what you think of the cruppers?
I agree about the awards Col. But you don't understand, some will sacrifice all ethics and integrity for an award, it is that important to them. I agree about personal satisfaction, but that doesn't put butts in the seat.

FYI - Charles Knie now lives in Australia and no longer owns a circus.

Steve,
I had been told that he had a parrot/bird park. I didn't realize it was in Australia.
Thanks mate,
Wade

As Steve says, Charles Knie himself now lives in Australia having sold the show (and the name) 2 or 3 years ago. The new owner also presents a Christmas circus in Heilbronn, Germany. And I've finally discovered somebody who has seen Marek working. Somebody who has plenty of experience working in circus. He thinks that Marek is a good presenter.

John.

John,
Who did you discover? A horse trainer? Let us know.
Thanks, mate.
