Things change as the training becomes more refined, and you breed for a specific discipline. Above is Aramus winning a Park Class, and below is CaryCun who was considered an English Pleasure Horse. Compare them to Afire Bey V and IXL Noble Express today's top horses.

I remember when the winning horses looked liked that...that was before Lasma days.
I think Sakr with Tom McNair was the last one I remember that was winning and moved like that.
Wade, Do you remember the "Heritage" Horses from Wisconsin? I think Ted Gibson was the trainer back then. Some of them were pretty good for their time.
