Dianne,
Often times when somebody sees a liberty act and they say, "boy thats something", you just shake your head and say, "you have no idea."

Wade - I feel the same way when someone says that about the Budweiser hitch after seeing 21 6-horse hitches in the arena together last October in Madison.

This a very beatiful liberty act .
From 1955-1962 trained and presented the famous horse trainer
Fred Petoletti in the Circus Williams. In 1963 He went to the Circus Heros and Günther presented the act for 1968 before went tothe Ringling.I'd like tose more liberty act photos from the all world. Many Thanks !

When was a big liberty act of 24 last done in the US? Nellie Hanneford combined two 12-acts a few years bac working, I believe, 12 then the full 24 then the other 12. Great to see and impressive. What about others within the memory of bloggers? And what about training time and just how many tricks can one do with so many?

Dick,
Best liberty act I have seen in recent memory in America was Gunthers Lipizzans on Ringling. Sacha Houcke also did some great stuff when he was with Ringling. In Europe, what I have seen, I would have to say Crystal Semback, Fredy Knie Jr. Flavio Togni, and Richter's. But there is also some junk in Europe also. No excuse, given the ideal liberty environment.
The flooring here is the biggest problem, I feel for an act of this magnitude. Plus you would need more people to move the animals in and out then are on the whole of most shows today.
The reverses, pirouettes in groups, waltzes, etc. alone put an act like this way beyond the standard 6. The precision, timing, and concentration from both animal and trainer is a breathtaking sight. A one horse hind leg walk at the end would be a disappointment.
