I believe she did combine the two act's for a short time, for some Hannaford celebration deal. Dianne, this is the split reverse, to a stop on the ring curb that I learned from John Herriott who trained these horses. As you see the split is supposed to stop at the back of the ring for a nice picture, of the trainer in the middle surrounded by the horses behind, not in the front as the NSH's now do at Lake Geneva.

You saw a bastardization of the original. I tried to bring it back as close as possible that one day, but there was no place to stand them in back as you know.

I've got the black ponies here and one of the grey horses. Grey horse is here on retirement. Black ponies I sold and will be going back to Florida the end of this month.Remainder of the grey horses Nellie sold to someone in California a little over a year ago. Thanks for the pic Wade. I had seen the blacks work but she had already gotten rid of the greys when I saw the act.
This is exactly the way I trained the routine with the stops on both sides of the ring and both groups stopping at the same time. This is part of the old Cole Bros. routines of my young years and the split wheel evenly spaced across from each group culminated part of this routine and is a very effective Liberty routine if smoothly accomplished. Glad to see Nellie has it just right.
