The hook, which "isn't bad and we don't use it on the animals" is often hidden in fringe as we see in this photo. It has got to be tough for that poor horse to move on that surface. Not the splayed back legs. And that Steve is also what constitutes hard to me. Having to force an animal into an inadequate environment.

The Donnert family is quite extensive. Basically they are Hungarian. Antel walks with a limp, which explains why he presents from horseback.

Agreed Wade. That horse is really working. And the elephant is not doing too bad either - given the surface.
