Wade, now you have gone and hit my sore spot about this place. Given my obsession with felids, the collection here is pitifully inadequate for a city this size and a zoo this size, consisting of only lions and tigers. The snow leopard exhibit was donated. The male Illyat arrived in 1969 and his mate Sonya arrived in 1970. In the early '90's when the last one died, Kagan converted the exhibit to monkeys!
