I wonder if this lady was related to Mrs Slocombe of "Are You Being Served" fame. After all, we are talking about felines.

I have heard of a female animal trainer/presenter, named Belle Slocombe, from the old old days. But cant find anything about her. Was she from England or what do you know. I thought years ago it might be that Belle Slocombe who this correspondence was address to. Where are my English horse pictures?

I have heard the name Belle Slocome in regards to circus/animal training, really. Your sense of humor is fine. If you had said Julia Childs, I would have connected/understood "across the water." Don't forget I am "Brit challenged." LOL My sense of humor is getting "vaguely funny", very fast, on the other hand because I don't have any liberty, long line horse pictures from Great Britain yet. LOL
