Jardin zoologique d'acclimatation--Exhibition Carl Hagenbeck 1905

Dompteur Fritz Schilling died in 1937.  Noted modern day wild animal trainer Jim Clubb has suggested that Shilling "was one of Hagenbeck's best trainers.  Looking at these photo's I would surely have to agree with Jim.  Incredible what can be accomplished without Government "interruptions."  I am not saying it was a perfect world, "back in the day" for animal's.  I am just saying it's incredible what skilled men accomplished with animals.  If anyone has any additional information about Fritz Schilling, I would sure like to hear it.

The "hyena" in the front look's a bit suspect?
