Ralph S. Scott was in his sixties already, an accomplished businessman who had done well in life and was addicted to big game hunting in Africa and India. This was his first shoot in Nepal although he had bagged his tigers in India. He showed us his photo albums from his estate at Bal Harbor, Florida. He raised two white tigers as pets that he had purchased from India.
'Paul McCarthy or anyone else that know's, what were the name's of the two white tiger's Mr. Scott had, and what became of them? Where is the mount of Princess currently at?'

Wade, Princess is now on display in the lobby of the administration building of the Miami Metro-Zoo. Michael Dulaney of the Cincinnati Zoo photographed her there just recently and shared the photograph with Mary Ann Howell. I noticed that Princess's stripes have really faded. I wish they'd touch them up. If you were alluding to those newspaper clippings the two white tigers which Ralph S. Scott would have claimed to have had were Mohini and Princess. He donated Mohini's first mate to the National Zoo, a male tiger named "Mighty Mo" which he captured in India in the forest of a maharaja. He also donated the orange tiger named "Sampson" to the National Zoo, who was Mohini's uncle and half brother, who carried white genes which he acquired from a zoo in India. I was just looking at the pictures in the "Vintage Brochure" which was posted on E-Bay featuring Crandon Park Zoo animals including Princess (somebody bought it) and there's a picture of "Andy" the first aardvark born in the Western Hemisphere. I am hoping that Don Boyd, who has the Old Miami Memories website will post the pictures from the brochure. Sincerely Paul

Does anybody remember "Carolina Snowball" the Miami Seaquarium's albino dolphin who was Flipper's wife or girl friend in the TV series (I know Flipper was actually several female dolphins) and had a baby by him? Sincerely Paul PS: I remember that her eyes were so sensetive to light, like Snowflake's, that she was squinting all the time.

I remember "Carolina Snowball," now that you reminded me. Thank you. I wonder what became of her, and why she seem's to have been forgotten in the world of albino/white animals.

Princess's strips are supposed to fade, she's dead. I think when you touch up or doctor animal mount's, with the exception of repairing something broken, it give's them an un-natural look. A dead skin isn't supposed to be as beautiful and vibrant as a live one.
