I believe it's Gus Augsburg. He made many appearances on Ed Sullivan and other TV variety shows in the 1950s, maybe 1960s. I heard he was originally a comic before he did the monkey act - sounds like a plan. He worked in Las Vegas a lot. (Now I'm really guessing.) Could be his wife was the trainer. After he died I think Yenda Smaha's wife worked the act.
