Bronx Zoo--1965

I wonder what took the brilliant elephant "field researcher's" so long(and how much money?) to finally come to the conclusion they did in the thread below? Maybe they need to "come in out of the cold" once in a while and take a look at a great zoo. Or just ask. I, and many others could have told them so they wouldn't have had to "stumble" upon it, and back slap and fall all over themselves with a "eureka" moment.
