A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Wade, have you seen this? http://www.cbc.ca/natureofthings/episode/american-tiger.html Sincerely Paul PS: There was another documentary titled The Tiger Next Door. Have you seen that one? I e-mailed you a link to that one a while back, but I don't think you were getting your e-mails in Mexico.
Wade, this is on the same topic. http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2008/04/080417130601.htm Sincerely Paul
Dang, I sold one of those on Ebay - also had most of those 'Oilette' post cards. Never got the Breyer ponies - I was always outbid.
The 3 horse figurine is 14 inches high so I bet it's a stunner in person. The artist Doris Lidner was world famous for her horse figures - she also did one of a circus woman riding 3 horses courier style. I just think it's awesome that reknowned artists chose circus horses as subject matter.
By the way, I've been getting some junk together for Ebay and there's a little collection you might like. If you send me you mailing adress, I'll send it to you as a thanks for the blog. Nothing that would take up much space if you want me to send it to Mexico.
