Ethel Purtle and King riding in a lion drome for a Clyde Beatty circus. Circus performers will object passionately if they are called "Carnies," adamantly pointing out how different the two industries, Carnival and Circus are. Have they ever stopped and thought for a moment how historically closely connected the two industries actually were, with Circus's at the State Fair, show's that traveled with the Carnival and performed on the Midway? Stereotyping is a terrible thing..........
