Circus performers will object passionately if they are called "Carnies," adamantly pointing out how different the two industries, Carnival and Circus are. Have they ever stopped and thought for a moment how historically closely connected the two industries actually were, with Circus's at the State Fair, show's that traveled with the Carnival and performed on the Midway? Stereotyping is a terrible thing..........
