A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Just heard about this from Jim Clubb at the Gibtown circus. The arena would be a clue. It's Joe Walsh working the last Alfred Court act in America. Something like 5 lions and 9 tigers trained by Court in the U.S.
Just lucky to be a the right place at the right time.
Jim,
That sucks that you got to go to Showfolks and pop a top with Clubb, and I had to settle for a Modelo and a taco!!!!! Walsh may have been lucky at that moment, but he sure wasn't lucky when he went to the same place in Illinois that P.L. went too. Neither of them were lucky ever again after that decision.
