Alberto graciously dedicated his fight to the working/grounds crew of the Monumental Plaza, and he was spectacular, but embarrassingly, as mentioned previously, then mucked the estocada(kill). I will be forever grateful that the day Josip Marcan was video taping my tiger act, in the hopes of garnering training tips, and I was "downed and browned," that I did not dedicate that show to him. Geez, would that have been a disaster!!!!!!

Barcelona (by the time of my writing this.. Sunday ... Sep 25-2011 EST..) has outlawed their bullfights. Some say reasons are political..some say animal cruelty.. GOOGLE Barcelona - last bullfight for coverage..

We'll see. I believe they banned it for good a few years ago, also. Often times in a democracy, when the final tally is in the "wingers"(my name for the far left and also a wing nut) aren't that many, and can't claim the majority.
