Russian Circus--Hippo's and Baboons

A common theme you will note, in these elaborately staged Russian animal act's is a lot of "Government funded" equipment, costuming, and people in the ring. The act's are seen for a year or two, then disappear. Has anyone ever asked, "where do they go?"

The "Zusha" act on steroids. Imagine what could be if Feld let Carmen Hall put some big baboon and macaque routine together jumping around on some exotic hooved stock. (Probably one of those acts that only those into training would appreciate.)

Didn't you have the video from a Chinese park of the goat and the macaque doing a very smooth routine? Do the Russians follow your blog?

Jim,
I could imagine Irvin Feld doing something like that with Carmen and baboons, but not Kenneth. What I could imagine the other Feld doing is contracting Pete Poopenshut from Podunk to put together a big baboon, macaque and hippo act then scrapping it and refusing to even consider something again, a year and 100's of grand's later when there still wasn't an act and they still hadn't gotten the little monster's out of the shipping crates yet.
Yes, I have the goat/macaque clip someplace, and will find and post. As for the Russian's, I wasn't aware that they had computer's yet? :)
