The Park Police in Juarez Park uniquely dress in traditional clothing and use traditional Charro tack. The first time I was in Juarez Park and saw a half dozen of them ride out of the tree's, my first thought was, "I'll be damned. I thought Emilio Zapata was shot to death in 1919, and here is is with his men." The horse all call two brand's one on their left hip and one on their left shoulder. From what I understand in speaking with the officers, the brand GDF stands for Federal Democratic Government and designated the horse as a Government owned animal, and the brand on the shoulder designates what branch of the government service it is used for. In this case G4 stands for park's service designating their reasonable mild and safe demeanor around people and traffic.
