Marco Kristens Circus Williams
By looking for pictures of Circus Williams I came across
a Japanese website and found the attached pictures.
Thought you might get a kick out of it. The pictures
show the German Circus Carl Hagenbeck during its 1933/34
tour through Southeast Asia. One of the stops was
Japan (where the pictures were taken). Hagenbeck
arrived in Yokohama Harbor on March 22, 1933. The
circus then played Tokyo, Nagoya, Koshien, Fukuoka,
Minato and Osaka on 28 September and sailed
from Kobe to Shanghai on September 30.
