A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.
What embarrassing, unholy, piece's of crap these "act's" are!!!!! Presentation's like this have done more to turn folk's away from the circus then any thing else.

There may be an explanation to the pony act. Maybe it was the load out show and the ponies were tied together so so they could begin their walk to the train right after the act. That also would explain that the grooms had packed their show wardrobe and were dressed to catch a bus to the next town. As to the horse act - you're correct.

What kind of BS alibi is loading the show wardrobe before the last show, and tying the ponies together for the walk to the train. I would be surprised if these gypsy's had a pickup, let alone a train. Geez.....

I'm just repeating some good circus fan information. We know that there has never been a show that really sucked.
Now if you'll excuse me I have to think up some more reasons to explain Casey Anthony's behavior for her mother to tell Dr. Phil.

I must apologize, as I didn't recognize you at first with your serving tray of Kool-Aid. You are mistaken, with all due respect. There have been and currently are a number of shows that really sucked. It is usually just a matter of poor lot choice. The smart money look's for a lot full of Sycamore tree's, thus taking advantage of lumen's, there by enhancing their show's crap or disguising it's crap, which ever the case may be.
