These bring back memories Wade. I had a Aunt that lived in Miami back in the 50`s and my sister & I would visit her every summer. We would go down and return to Columbia, SC on the old Seaboard Silver Meteor. We visited all of these places at one time or another along with the Miami Seaqurium & I think a place called Parrot Jungle. I have some old photos around, I`ll look them up and send them to you.
Hal,
It was indeed a magical time, a time that can now be fully appreciated, and the loss of mourned, given the current state of affairs in the world. It was not perfect for animals, but any imperfections were due to innocence/ignorance, and not intention.
