This is a great clip above of Philip Gruss's Leopard Act which we were discussing the other day, that Thomas Bohner found and was kind enough to send. Thomas Bohners Cage Act History

Also on the same link at the right, video similar, 6th down is a clip titled Le Cirque with incredible footage of the "Britanic Circus" I have never heard of the Britanic Circus or know the date of this footage. Can anyone offer any insight? At 4:39 there is some vintage elephant training. Any idea's who the folks are in the clip? Also at 6:19 is some vintage horse training. Any idea's who the folks are? Best of all at 6:39 is some great vintage lion training, with a door bouncing lion which we have also been discussing. Any idea's who the gentleman is presenting the act? Jim Clubb, there is an odd looking "chair" in front of the door as the presenter is attempting to enter, but it is not the same chair he use's for his bouncing in the act. Any thought's on why he would have two different chairs in the act? If the one in front of the door, was to stop the lion from hitting the door, why not just use a pedestal? Would he have used it to enter the cage, then replaced it with a different one for the act? Note the old broken stick he use's in the "tiger" segment of the act.

At 11:02 there is footage of a couple of liberty acts, a 4 black 4 grey, and 4 what look to be Palomino's or Cremelo's, followed by what looks like a different cage act with a wire walking tiger as well as an elephant act, which looks different from the footage mentioned above. Great clip Thomas, thank you for sharing it.
