A Blog designed for discussion of topics related to, but not limited to, Circus, Zoos, Animal Training, and Animal Welfare/Husbandry. Sometimes opening up the dialog is the best starting point of all. And if for nothing else when people who agree and don't agree, get together and start discussing it, it will open up a lot of peoples minds. Debate and discussion even amongst themselves opens a window where there wasn't one before.

Circo Atayde(Aguilar) Hermanos
I tried to take a few pictures inside the tent this morning during practice, but as it was an iphone they didn't come out the best. My apologies. It does give you an idea of the beauty of the interior of the tent, which is an exact replica of Circus Knie's tent. Ricardo Aguilar saw the Knie tent on the internet and liked it so much, he had all the necessary material sent from Europe to Mexico and had the tent constructed by a company in Mexico. The backdrop to the stage/arena is a beautiful replica of a Roman temple with purple curtains and two tiger heads. The "Roman" theme is carried through to the elevated stage and is surrounded by a wall of miniature Roman columns interspersed with tiger heads.
