I think this is Guy Gossing when he had his lion act. Note the Western cloths he always wore.

I never saw Gossing but that sure looks like Von Uhl's profile.

I vote with Casey. Looks like Guy's props and trainer looks like Guy too. The Baron usually wore a vest.

You are right. I first thought it was Guy, but on second look because there were only two cat's in the picture, I wrongly assumed it was Von Uhl. Thank you for the correction.

I forgot to sign in on that profile remark. Didn't Von Uhl leave a promising career training Lipizzaner with a prestigious Austrian riding academy to build a cat act?

I don't know how "prestigious" it was, or whether he "left" to build a cat act.

He built the act on the Castle Show tour in 1965. He showed up with leather belts holding the arena to gather I called a welder in and we put drop pins on it like Pat Anthony's Also had to put bigger caster on all his cages.It was very interesting i always had a fire extinguisher by the door and used it a lot.
