In 1952, the Melbourne Zoo had a go at "cute and charming" by having Felina Kennedy hold the hose as Peggy walks through the "Washmobile." Peggy being coaxed by keepers Carl Mackaway and Bill Craig. Note the odd handle end on the elephant hook in the picture above. I have never seen a circle/ring on the end. I wonder what it was used for? I assume more then just having something to hang on a wall nail.

Looks like Peggy wasn't too keen on the Washmobile!
The ring on the end of the hook was probably only to hang it up with.
Probablly to open botles off beer lol
